Can we reach you?
Check your exact address.
Festac is one of the two areas DelivGas is focused on today. Delivery still depends on your distance from a merchant with gas available, so the app checks your exact address before you pay.
Local tips
Give your rider a Festac address they can follow.
Festac’s avenues and closes make a precise address easy to give, and a vague one easy to get lost with. These details save a phone call.
- Tell your rider your avenue, road, close, block and flat in the app’s chat. Closes in Festac are lettered, so the letter on its own won’t say which road you mean.
- If you know it, say which gate off the Lagos-Badagry Expressway is closest: First, Second or Third Gate.
- Saving your address at home? Tap “Use my current location”. The app measures your distance from merchants using the location you save.
- Live in an upper flat? Message your rider in the app to agree where you’ll hand over the cylinder.
Order and pay in the app
Choose a merchant and how much gas you want. You see the gas price, delivery fee and service fee before you pay.
Hand over your empty cylinder
Read out your pickup code when the rider arrives. You can cancel any time before that.
It gets filled
The rider takes it to your chosen merchant, who fills it and releases it with a code.
Get it back
Follow the rider on the map, check the cylinder at your door, and give your return code.
Questions and answers
Festac questions.
Does DelivGas deliver to every part of Festac?
Festac is a focus area, but we can’t promise every address. Each merchant delivers within a set distance, so the app checks your saved address before you order and tells you if you are outside coverage.
Do I need to bring my cylinder to a gate or gas plant?
No. The rider comes to your address for the empty cylinder and brings it back after the refill. You read out a code at each end.
Can I refill a 12.5kg cylinder in Festac through the app?
Yes, if your address is in coverage. Tap the 12.5kg shortcut, or enter any weight or naira amount you want instead.
Next time the gas finishes, don’t lift it.
Order your refill in the DelivGas app. Pay in the app and follow your cylinder on the map.
