About DelivGas
A technology-enabled LPG distribution and delivery business.
DelivGas connects households and businesses that need cooking gas with the LPG merchants and delivery riders who can supply it. We are early-stage, with our apps, merchant console and payment infrastructure already deployed. We operate under DelivExpress Technologies Limited.

The problem
Demand for LPG has grown. Getting it to the kitchen hasn’t changed.
For most Nigerian households, refilling a cylinder is still a physical errand: carry it to a plant or a roadside retailer, ask the price, wait and carry it home. If you pay someone to go for you, you lose sight of your cylinder until it returns.
Prices aren’t visible until you arrive, supply is spread across many small independent sellers, and those sellers have no easy way to reach customers beyond their own street.
Nigeria’s regulator has itself linked wider LPG adoption to investment in cylinder distribution. That last stretch to the kitchen is the part we work on.

Our solution
An organised order for a disorganised errand.
A customer orders in an app, compares merchants and pays up front. A rider collects the cylinder, the merchant refills it and the rider returns it, with a code confirming each handover.
We don’t need to own plants or cylinders for this to work. Merchants keep their existing filling business and gain a new source of orders; riders get paid work; customers get visibility and their time back. DelivGas provides the ordering, payments, dispatch and support that connect them.
Business model
Every completed refill pays three parties.
- The customer
- Pays for the gas, plus a delivery charge and a service fee, in the app before dispatch.
- The merchant
- Lists a gas price, fills the cylinder and is settled to a merchant wallet once the delivery completes.
- The rider
- Moves the cylinder through its three handovers and is paid per completed delivery, with tips on top.
- DelivGas
- Earns from delivery charges and applicable platform and service fees on each order.
Our technology
Built to handle money and cylinders, not just orders.
Prices the client can’t change
Every price and fee is calculated on the server from the merchant’s catalogue and admin-controlled fee rules. The quote the customer sees and the amount charged come from the same code.
Verified custody
Handover codes are checked on the server at each stage, and the merchant stage is checked against the rider’s location. A cylinder’s movement through an order is on record.
Money movement that reconciles
Payments confirm through Paystack webhooks, with reconciliation running against them. Wallets, payouts and withdrawals for customers, riders and merchants run on the same rails.
Access by role
Customers, riders, merchants and merchant staff are separated at the database level, so each sees only their own data. Staff logins don’t expose a merchant’s money.
Coverage that’s enforced
Delivery radius is checked before an order is priced, so nobody pays for a delivery we can’t make, and out-of-area demand is captured as a waitlist.
Expansion ambition
From a few Lagos neighbourhoods to 10 major Nigerian states.
That is our strategy, not our footprint. Today we are focused on Festac and Amuwo-Odofin, with promotional activity extending to Ikeja.
Coverage on DelivGas is defined by merchants and their delivery radius, which makes expansion a matter of opening one area at a time: merchants first, then riders, then customers. The apps, payments and operating tools don’t need to be rebuilt for each new area.
